Here, you can quit the hustle to perform, ditch the struggle to succeed, and play your way back into a blissful, aligned sense of self.
Solitude can be deeply meaningful, but so can togetherness. Community creates fertile (and joyful!) ground for shared growth, where everyone is each other’s keeper.
The state of play is a portal to flow, a divine space of freedom where you dance with active ease.
We’ll enjoy this portal through movement (yes, there’s yoga, but there are also other delicious, fun, shake-your-booty shenanigans), guided thought puzzles, swims in the Mediterranean, and frolics deep in the Serra de Tramuntana mountains of Mallorca, an island long known for its curative vibes.
And when we are done playing we will rest. This is not your typical “wake up at 6am sharp for a movement class” wellness experience. Instead, you get to linger and luxuriate in your internal rhythms.
Whatever "shoulds" are currently drowning you in guilt, shame, and a feeling of sheer discombobulation, the antidote is the same: rest and play, play and rest. Wash, rinse, and repeat.
And that's just what we intend to do.
It’s Just Ease is an opportunity to listen to your heart, detach from expectations, practice new behaviors, and enjoy the delight of travel (without all of the logistics). It’s an opportunity to swim in a liminal space and to befriend the unknown—a place where magic and miracles happen.
You will leave refreshed, curious, and prepared with plenty of new tools to carry delight and ease forward into this one brilliant life you have.
What I experienced was everything I wanted it to be and more. I have never come home from any trip feeling as recharged as I did from the retreat, mind and body.
This was my first real retreat. I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. I am not shy but 5 days with total strangers was a big leap. The energy of the facilitators was contagious, the way they structured the program, led the group in activities, the way they were able to open everyone's hearts and minds and create a warm and inviting community ... it was so special, even magical at times.
The excursions were wonderful and we had plenty of time to experience the location and to wander on our own. Eating healthy, moving regularly, soaking in the beauty around me, enjoying stillness and quiet, finding clarity in my mind and being totally selfish for a few days taking care of me and only me. In less than a week I feel like a new and improved version of myself.
If you're ready to invest in yourself, going to a beautiful place, where everything is set up but nothing is obligatory, where you can focus on yourself, connect with an interesting group of people, and get some space to think and reflect, then this is a great retreat for you.
Suset and her team exuded welcomeness, calm, and lack of expectations or pressure, and I feel that really opened the path to connecting to the group vibe at my own pace.
Also, the location had SUCH a strong grounding ancient spiritual "do nothing" vibe that I just felt enveloped in like a big plush cushion. I left the retreat with a new somatic memory now, to breathe in and imagine being in Mallorca and it imparts this heavy relaxing feeling whenever I need it
This retreat is not an escape from life, but an initiation into a life of intentional play and ease.
Arrive at the Palma Airport and meet your transportation to the luxury villa, a historic mansion in Palma's city limits. Once in your new home, take some time to settle and bask in the scenery. We will meet for an intention setting circle, followed by our first guided mind puzzles. (Don't worry, these are meant to activate your joy, not give you a headache.) Dinner and libations will be followed by time on your own to connect to the space and yourself or go out and play—your choice. We firmly believe in the power that comes when rest and play dance, and have built plenty of rest time into your schedule.
Ease into the journey with a soft launch to the day. Early risers can meet us for a relaxed breakfast before a morning meditation and playful yoga. You will then have the morning free to explore the beautiful grounds, lounge about, schedule wellbeing treatments in the villa, such as massage, or venture out and explore the island on your own. We would be delighted to make recommendations. We'll reconvene in the afternoon activities—a come-as-you-are soiree of arts and crafts with a purpose. Finish the day with Flamenco lessons honoring one of Spain's most iconic dance forms.
Except when you leave with a full heart and empowered with new tools to bring ease, joy, and a little more lightheartedness into your daily life. Come together for our last breakfast, big hugs and final laughs before we send you off to the airport with a lighter baggage of the soul.

The whole experience was magical. I’ve gained self confidence to explore more in life. This retreat nourishes your mind, your body, and your soul. It gives you an opportunity to reconnect with yourself, nature, and others.
The retreat gave me the opportunity to go outside of my comfort zone. I put all fear and anxiety aside and started my “new life.” I hiked and swam in the open sea with Mallorca as the gorgeous backdrop. My God, as I write this, I still can feel the excitement I experienced when actually going up that mountain or paddling in the water! No more fear!!! From now on I will try new things.
I have to say the moments we came together as a group and shared with each other in the guided activities were the best. I felt we really connected more and more as the days passed. I left with a much more positive perspective to life. Thank you!
I came home different and better because of this experience.
I came into the retreat struggling and frustrated with myself. I felt isolated from other people and community, even though I have great family and friends. In the retreat, I got to spend time with an old friend, with new friends that I made there in a very short time, and with myself. I rediscovered that fun and artsy girl that was there once upon a time is still there. And it was really nice to get back in touch with her.
The retreat was crafted with love, with intention. Suset wanted us to get what we wanted to get out of it, not what she wanted us to get out of it. If you wanted to participate in the activities, participate. If you wanted to just stay and rest or go to the market or go into the pool or overlook the Mediterranean, whatever it was that was going to offer you ease, do less, do more, whatever that was, she offered it. She created an amazing experience for every single individual that was there. I'm not the same person I was when I was there.

Suset was born on the lovely island of Puerto Rico, the great-granddaughter of a Mallorcan immigrant. She is an Empowerment Coach and the founder of A Little Awareness. Suset is serious about her commitment to helping people escape the cult of busy and the hustle mindset but not so serious about herself. You can thank Barney, the friendly tumor, for ushering Suset into a lifelong journey to strip away all that which keeps her, her loved ones, the collective from living in peace, ease, joy and freedom. It was this rare tumor (a paraganglioma) diagnosed a month before her wedding as hurricane Maria destroyed her homeland of Puerto Rico that set her on a path to lead from alignment and her essential SELF rather than struggle and the "shoulds" that society impose. Ivy League educated with a Ph.D. in the social sciences, Suset works with ambitious people whose enthusiasm has led them to success, but also stress and burnout. She helps them quit the hustle mindset and bring ease into their life, with a little more awareness at a time. Suset is a 200 hour certified Yoga instructor, crystal healer and certified Martha Beck Master Wayfinder Life Coach who once went to Pie Camp as an adult and loved it.

A native New Yorker, Dympna is a human, a doctor, wife, mother, daughter, friend, creator, connector, writer, Master Coach & Irish dancer. Yup, like in Riverdance. As an OBGYN, Dympna had the privilege of caring for women and their families at such a pivotal and special time in their lives. After years of joyfully serving her patients and others in her life, she was forced into stillness six months into the pandemic. Moving from physician into the role of patient was not easy. She found an opportunity to reconnect with herself and began to cultivate self-compassion and kindness - through coaching. Having experienced the power of coaching first hand, Dympna recognized how these skills would have served her in past chapters of her life. She now works with other high achieving, self-flagellating, professional, multitaskers - especially her colleagues in medicine - to help them listen to themselves more and find their joy, peace and purpose. Dympna is a certified Martha Beck Master Wayfinder Life Coach, certified with the ICF at the ACC level, a Level 1 Reiki practitioner, and is a certified Irish dance teacher. She backpacked through Europe with her aunt & uncle when she was 13 and has loved to travel ever since.

Growing up at the foot of a small mountain in Connecticut, Carina drew a deep sense of peace wandering among the trees and sitting by the creek in her backyard. She is a wanderer at heart and loves getting lost in a new place, especially among the mountains or by the sea. After nearly a decade in NYC working in corporate marketing, she left to explore the world, to get back in touch with nature, and commit to learning from teachers of various backgrounds. Carina is a 200 hour certified Yoga Instructor, Breathwork Facilitator, and Level 1 Reiki Practitioner, and Level 1 Bach Flower Practitioner. She found the healing path after a challenging period in her early 20s in which she was diagnosed with endometriosis, and watched a loved one struggle with a mental illness. The call to go inwards was the beginning of a new way of living for her. One where connecting to one’s heart, listening to and treating her body as a home, and stripping away the layers became the light forward. It is the journey that followed that made her want to share this path with others. Her mission is to guide others home to themselves through their own power of healing; to get back in touch with the rhythms of nature and their own heart.
Booking reserves your spot, but your experience is only just beginning! Within a few weeks, you’ll receive an invitation to an online platform so you can access the welcome packet with all of the logistics and helpful info. You’ll also receive a survey with lots of questions about the type of experience you’d like to have, so we can even further customize the retreat to your own personal sense of ease and joy. We’ll ask about your dietary needs, comfortability with different types of movement, what inspires you, and so much more. And from now until we depart, you’ll have email access to us (your hosts!) and our travel planner, Mariana, for help with any logistical questions.
You’ll need to cover your airfare to Palma de Mallorca (PMI), personal travel insurance (recommended!), and gratuities. If you choose to arrive earlier or stay longer on the island, you’ll also need to cover your transportation to/from the airport.
Beyond that, the only other expenses are optional/of a personal nature. You may want to buy travel's insurance or health insurance for your trip.
Once on the island, you might be interested in booking a massage or spa service on one of our rest days, having a drink or purchasing some souvenirs in town, or heading out on an excursion of your own.
You’re not only allowed, beautiful soul—you’re encouraged to. Of course, we’ve planned the activities with intention, for joy, exploration, healing, and connection, and we hope you’ll enjoy many of them. But this retreat is also an opportunity to deeply trust your own “yes” and “no,” and to follow your needs wherever they lead you. So absolutely, stay in bed, luxuriate by the pool, or take an afternoon to yourself. It’s just ease.
We’re ready to honor what you need. This spring, you’ll receive a survey where you can share that information with us, so we’ll be able to plan well in advance. Our chef (ooh, fancy) can accommodate a variety of dietary needs, and all of the activities are optional and, often, customizable. In the past, some participants have opted to spend the afternoon in town instead of joining the boating excursion, or getting a massage at the villa instead of hiking. We’ll help you get the most out of your experience, no FOMO necessary.
Because we’re coaches, we can’t help but offer you a few questions:
-Does imagining the retreat feel delicious to you, even if you have some fear or uncertainty?
-If you could accept that uncertainty is normal (in fact, guaranteed in life!), can you explore your hesitation and find out more about where it’s coming from?
-If you can temporarily put aside the logistics of making it happen, is there something important that’s calling to you?
In our experience, all of the “how”s can be figured out, but you’re the one who knows deep down whether this is for you (or not). And if it is for you, this is where the medicine of the experience starts—saying yes to a life of ease, going with the flow, and openness to new experiences.
Absolutely. Email Suset at hello@alittleawareness.com and we’ll help you get it answered.
Bliss, belonging, and just being all await you.
